Micron numbers on hash refer to the size of the screen used during ice-water washing. Each cultivar produces trichome heads of different sizes — typically 45μ to 159μ. The “ideal” range is usually 73μ–120μ; below 45μ is mostly contaminants, above 159μ is mostly plant matter. LimeLine’s 73μ wash captures the highest-purity, most cannabinoid-rich heads and reads as bright and elevating. Our 90μ wash captures a slightly broader range of mature heads and reads richer and more balanced.
